…You know you want to
So! Here’s the first entry that made it to publication since I put up the invitation to guest writers. The author, ADELEKE FARAYOLA is quite a fantastic writer and a graphics designer. You can find him at http://www.announcementsng.com. I particularly enjoy his goofy style of writing. Enjoy!
There is one reason in life we should take an opportunity at loving someone very seriously and sincerely: IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO REVERSE TIME even if wishes were horses.
We sometimes wish there was something we could do/say to make someone forget the past and just totally smile at us or maybe brainwash the past outta their head but then – only if wishes were horses shey?
The things of the past bring no joy to the heart when they are thought of. Most especially the ways these things were done. They have been more or less dumb, annoying, totally embarrassing and outrightly stupid that after the newest and latest episode of “being stupid” is complete, a funny feeling sets in, a wish to know exactly what connects us so much; maybe we could get it removed/deleted…Again, if wishes were horses shey?
This isn’t a case of love gone sour, an ex trying to “find his/her way back” or some Justin Beiber-Selena Gomez drama series…This is more or less misplacement of priorities, poor judgement and rash reactions to situation. So, sometimes, we wonder “what is it about this person that makes him/her impossible to “fashi”. The truth is “we dunno”…and as the manner of all my English and ‘Englishes’ have been going, we wish we knew what it was but then if wishes were horses shey?
If wishes really were horses we would ride them back in time and right all our wrongs. So this week, I’m looking for a horse all around town!. At least I’ve got to try to ride something!!!! – Again, if wishes were horses!!!
If wishes were horses, we would live in a perfect world. One with no pain or sorrow; one with joy, fun and happiness all through; no conflicts or misunderstandings; everyone getting along perfectly….But you already know how I am going to end this…IF WISHES WERE HORSES
If you love someone, let them know…not “kwe-kwe” love o! I’m talking about the love that you can stand on a bus and scream it out. Love that keeps you awake all night, that puts butterflies in your tummy (for the “Butties”) and cockroach in your cupboard (for the rest of us)…But then if…????
